Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2014

AIMATS(All India Management Aptitude Testing Service), New Delhi conducts a Management Aptitude Test (MAT) on a national level 4 times every year in the months of May, September and December for admissions to MBA and equivalent programmes. Large number on institutes participate in MAT.

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPEARING IN MAT 2014

Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University.

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree and are awaiting results can also apply

Examination pattern for MAT 2014

Type of exam- MAT 2015 will be pen and pencil based aptitude test .

Total number of Question -200

Total Time Duration - 2 hours 30 minutes or 150 minutes

Correct attempt- 1 marks for each correct answer

Incorrect attempt- No negative marking for any wrong answer.

MAT Syllabus 2014

Language Comprehension- In Language Skills question can be from Reading Comprehension, Passages, Poems, Synonyms, Anonyms, Dictionary meanings of different words, Syntax, and correct grammar and Language usage and their rules.

Intelligence and Critical Reasoning-In this section question will be from Coding & Decoding, Strong Arguments and Weak Arguments, Series, Family tree, Multi-dimensional arrangements and Puzzles

Quanttitative Aptitude & DI and Mathematical Skills-Number system, geometry, trigonometry,probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages,profit and loss,quadratic and linear equations,etc.Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, table, graphs, venn diagram, chart and etc.

Indian and Global Environment-Current Affairs, Business, Punch line of companies, Top officials of big companies, Major corporate events, Famous award and prizes, World Records, Books and authors, Science, History, Geography, International organizations
