Maharashtra Common Entrance Test ( MAH CET ) 2015


Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) for admission to first year of Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programme offered by various management institutes in the state.MHT CET is a computer based online test. MHT CET MBA 2014 which is conducted each year for the residents of Maharashtra only.



ELIGIBILITY FOR APPEARING IN  MAH CET 2015











  • Candidate should be an Indian National
  • should have passed/appeared the HSC (10+2 level) examination
  • minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of Backward       class categories
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply
  • Candidate form Maharashtra State and out side of Maharashtra (OMS)who have appeared for the CAT / GMAT / CMAT / MAT (Feb)/ XAT / ATMA are eligible for All India seats subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria.




  • Examination pattern for MAH CET 2015 

     Type of exam- MAH CET  2015 will be a computer based online aptitude test .

     Total number of Question - 200

     Total Time Duration - 2 hours 30 minutes or 150 minutes

     Correct attempt- 1 marks for each correct answer 

     Incorrect attempt- No negative marking for wrong answer




    MAH CET Syllabus 2015


    • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension- Verbal ability and Reasoning test design to test student ability of identify patterns or relationships between groups of sentences and words.Reading Comprehension to test the ability to comprehend text and influenced by their traits and make inferences.

    • Logical/Abstract Reasoning-A logical reasoning test is often termed abstract reasoning test or logical aptitude test. In any case a combination of inductive and deductive reasoning is required to solve the test questions. Abstract reasoning tests are more than just IQ quizzes. Often complex combinations of figures with varying properties are used. By manipulating these with logical rules it is possible to create specific logical sequences.

    • Quantitative Aptitude-Quantitative Aptitude Tests evaluate numerical ability and problem solving skills of candidates.Its cover Number system, geometry, trigonometry,probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages,profit and loss,quadratic and linear equations,etc
